The Core Lab team is glad to announce the final release of Universal Data Access
Components. UniDAC is an incredible solution for providing unified access to the
popular database servers such as Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, InterBase, and
Firebird.

UniDAC is a powerful library of nonvisual cross-database data access components for
Delphi, Delphi for .NET, and C++Builder. It supplies a transparent
server-independent interface for working with different database servers so that you
can easily switch between different database servers in your cross-database
UniDAC-based application.

Our product represents an efficient native alternative to the Borland Database
Engine and dbExpress for access to the most popular database servers. Also it
provides ability to migrate existing BDE/IBX/ADO-based applications to UniDAC in
order to take advantage of server-specific features.

Now UniDAC supports environments starting with Delphi 6 (except Delphi 8) and
C++Builder 6, and the newest versions of database servers. In future it will be kept
in up-to-date state and its functionality will be undoubtedly enhanced and improved.

As to the functionality and performance, UniDAC shows high performance through
supplying native access to each server, omitting stages that result in slowing down
the work. Besides, UniDAC has features providing advanced connection and flexible
data management.

Now UniDAC is available in Standard, Professional, and Trial Edition. Standard
Edition is a cost-effective solution for the users who own some products of our DAC
family, Professional Edition enables you enjoy unified access to all announced
database servers without any limitations or purchasing any additional products, and
Trial Edition shows off all functionality of UniDAC Professional Edition with a
trial limitation.

Also we want to inform you that new ODAC, SDAC, MyDAC, and IBDAC beta versions
compatible with UniDAC are available from now on. They include providers that can be
used with UniDAC Standard Edition.
